S.N.A.P. to it, America!
Spay, Neuter, Adopt, and Protect rescue animals.
Beyonce has a very easy call to action. In order to prevent millions of needless deaths each year, pet owners, future pet owners, or animal lovers can do 1 of 3 things.
- Spaying and Neutering. According to the NCPPSP only 10% of dogs and cats are fixed when they come in to the shelter. The liability for them to produce offspring could get them euthanized or produce a litter of the same fate. Additionally, unnecessary litters take 4-6 homes that could be filled by older pets that are on their last chance.
- Adopting from a shelter or rescue. There are millions of pets that need homes. Beyonce absolutely encourages finding the right pet for your home, but to her this just means spending a little extra time and energy. Shelters and rescues are full of every size and shape dog imaginable, many of which are puppies. Also, according to the NCPPSP, 25% of dogs that enter shelters are purebred. So please, go to a local shelter or rescue to find your new puppy or kitten because you will be saving a life!
- Protecting rescue animals. Many of us already have enough pet companions or are not in the position to take one home but still love to help out. You can volunteer, donate, or spread the word. Most rescues and shelters are not-for-profit and their animal residents will receive direct benefit from your assistance. Also, the joy you might find volunteering with our furry friends can last a lifetime!
Tiny Beyonce’s S.N.A.P. program consists of two elements. Firstly, Tiny Beyonce seeks to raise awareness about rescue animals and what YOU can do to save them from tragedy. Additionally, Tiny B has her own team at The Grace Foundation that takes your donations and turns them into action.
We are on the lookout everyday for last chance animals across the US that need our help. We have state-of-the-art medical equipment and a ready team to save animals from euthanasia, abuse, and at-risk situations. After rescuing an animal, we rehabilitate and find a home for them. Whether that animal can be used for service or therapy, adopted out, or add to the character of The Grace Foundation, we will find it a new purpose in life. So, you can be an animal’s lifeline by providing the essentials that they need to survive or giving them a great new home. S.N.A.P. to it, America!
